Your Three Biggest Digital Banking Questions … Answered!

Last week, Lone Star Credit Union launched our new digital banking platform and we had a hectic few days helping Members re-enroll, get set up, and learn how to use the new system. While it’s a big change, the final result is a more flexible and functional way to bank on your phone, desktop, or tablet.

Last week, Lone Star Credit Union launched our new digital banking platform and we had a hectic few days helping Members re-enroll, get set up, and learn how to use the new system. While it’s a big change, the final result is a more flexible and functional way to bank on your phone, desktop, or tablet.

Many Members are still adjusting to the new platform. Here are the top three issues we’ve encountered and how to solve them:

1. “My app doesn’t work.” With the new system came a new app! Just like the desktop version, the new LSCU app is full of great features that make banking more joyful. If you still have the old LSCU Mobile App, you will need to delete it from your device and install the new app. Just search for LSCU in the App Store or Google Play. But make sure to keep the LSCU Cards app – you’ll still need it for additional control of your debit and credit cards.

2. “What’s my account number.” Many Members have struggled with account numbers. Some didn’t know their number of were tried to use their checking lookup number. If you’re still having difficulty registering and need your account information, please call us at 214.327.9367 for assistance. Unfortunately, we cannot provide account numbers through email messages for security reasons.

3. “Why can’t I see all of my accounts?” The new system has a great feature that gives you the option to group, move, and hide accounts. This allows you to put some accounts front and center (special savings for summer vacation, anyone?) and hide or collapse rarely-used accounts that you don’t need to check daily. As great as this feature is, it’s caused some confusion. If you’re looking at your app and you’re not sure where your accounts have gone, tap the three dots under the microphone icon in the upper right corner of the app and it’s likely you’ll be able to see them again. Still not sure where your accounts are located? Call, chat, or send a secure message and a representative will be happy to help!
